Mujeres en altos cargos gerenciales y sus estrategias de posicionamiento y estabilidad laboral: Implicaciones para organizaciones de América Latina

Resumen

En el mundo empresarial como un proceso de adaptación y crecimiento laboral, las ejecutivas están empleando mecanismos de liderazgo y estrategias respecto a cómo compiten con sus pares masculinos y femeninos. Este artículo revisa las estrategias de afrontamiento y actitudes que ayudan a las mujeres a posicionarse y mantenerse estables en altos cargos gerenciales. La feminización empresarial, la búsqueda de apoyo por otras mujeres, la masculinización en el estilo de liderazgo, y el boicot a pares femeninas (i.e., síndrome de abeja reina) han sido las estrategias identificadas en la literatura. Este artículo discute las implicaciones para organizaciones de América Latina y el Caribe en un contexto post-COVID-19.
